not by selling products on behalf of an employer or financial institution. That’s why we offer complete
transparency about the fees you pay, so there are no hidden surprises.
Advice SA’s fee structure can be found on our Financial Services Guide (FSG).
We work on the simple philosophy that if Advice SA cannot provide value to your financial situation, then we will not offer our services. This provides our clients with assurance that the advice we provide will make a difference.
Our fee model allows you to choose the amount of service and financial advice you require. In essence, it is a user pay approach – we do not assume that the more money you have, the more financial advice you need.
Instead, the fee charged is based on:
- the amount of time needed to provide the financial advice;
- the degree of complexity and level of expertise required to complete the services; and

Summary of Fees
Initial Appointment
Our first meeting is very informal. It's a chance for us to learn about each other. It's where we will explore whether we can help you and talk about ways we could work together. This initial appointment is at no cost to you.
Statement of Advice Preparation Fee
The Statement of Advice preparation fee will vary dependent on the complexity of your situation. The cost of most plans we prepare generally fall within the range $1,800 - $5,500 (including GST).
What we would consider a fairly standard situation requiring two or three areas to be addressed (for example advice on investments, personal insurance and superannuation) is likely to cost between $2,200 - $4,400.
Should your circumstances be particularly unique or complex, our fees may exceed these ranges.
Statement of Advice Implementation Fees
The cost of implementing your statement of advice is included in the cost of your Statement of Advice.
Review Advice Services
When it comes to financial advice, it’s wise to put in place regular checkpoints to ensure your financial strategies still meet your needs.
Our Review Advice Services help you stay on top of your finances, no matter how your personal or financial circumstances change.
There’s a range of packages to choose from, so it’s best to talk with your adviser about the one that best fits your situation.
Ad Hoc Advice
We also provide advice on an ad hoc basis for those clients that have a specific need and do not require a full service financial planning services. For services of this nature we charge $330 (including GST) per hour.
